SOLUTION
As a BSN prepared nurse, the lessons learned from this change project can be applied to various ways to enhance professional practice, improve patient outcomes, and contribute to the advancement of nursing as a discipline. I have learned better how to utilize research and data to propose and advocate for in interventions in my daily practice, as well as leading initiatives to integrate new protocols, such as improving education to dialysis patients to increase their own self-care. This is a lifelong process of advocating for continuous QI projects within the organization.
