Hello Class,

In this course, I learned how to apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and patient-centered care to nursing practice. The simulations and assessments helped build the ability to analyze patients holistically, identifying the links between various systems and how they interact. I also learnt the importance of developing strong, caring relationships with patients in order to meet their emotional and mental needs as well as their physical health in my future career as a baccalaureate-prepared nurse. I intend to apply these approaches to give comprehensive, compassionate care that includes both treating symptoms and knowing the person behind the sickness. This will allow me to make more educated judgments, thereby improving patient outcomes.
